Mmm…Bacon!

In Saturday night’s storytelling show, “Bringing Home the Bacon,” Better Said Than Done storytellers regaled the audience with stories of all the joys and happiness of going to work.

Anna Marie Trester, who hosted the show, started the night with a story of fitting right in working for Goldman Sachs.  Mattie Cohan talked about her time working in the library at Columbia University. Michael Zhuang was raking in the money but feeling unsatisfied back in his youth.

Anne Thomas set out to prove she is not a racist.

Mary worked on a book for a less than trustworthy author. Meredith Maslich figured out what it meant to be a business owner.  Shawn Westfall saluted his time in the Air Force.

All the true, personal stories were fun, interesting, inspiring, unique or just plain awesome.  That’s the beauty of storytelling and the allure of bacon!

Our next storytelling show, “Awkward!” is July 27, at Epicure Cafe. Details here!
