Storytelling Times Two

At a recent storytelling show, two Better Said Than Done storytellers told the same story.  Well, not exactly.  It was not quite a “Rashomon” style of storytelling, as it wasn’t two views of the same story but, rather, it was more of a “puzzle pieces” style of storytelling. Jessica Robinson told part of the story and David Supley Foxworth told a different part of the story.

You can watch both stories here:

Our storytelling shows always feature true and personal stories. In this case, we got to see two storytellers expand one story in two directions. The theme of the night was “Fall for It, stories about being duped,” and it’s fun to see how the two storytellers each interpreted that theme differently.

To see how storytellers diversely interpret our upcoming theme, “Masquerade: stories of costumed fun, festivities and the masks we wear,” you have to come to the show.
