Better Said Than Done was designated as a 501(c)(3) public charity in October 2023. Donations, gifts, transfers, and bequests to Better Said Than Done are tax deductible.
Better Said Than Done’s mission is to educate and provide opportunities for performance, discussion and community building through the provision of educational workshops and classes in the art of storytelling and the production of storytelling performances and festivals. Through workshops, classes, and the production process, we support the artistic development of storytellers, including community members who are new to the art form and underrepresented voices. Through performance and festivals, we promote public interest, knowledge, understanding and participation in the art of storytelling in and around Virginia, and in the broader community online.

The deadline to sponsor the 2024 festival in time for your logo to appear in our print and video program is February 10, 2024. But we welcome Festival sponsors at any time throughout the year.
