Great Sex…and Love Stories

It was a spicy night of stories at Epicure Cafe last Saturday. Storytellers shared embarrassing, emotional, and heartwarming stories to a sold out audience. Here’s a little about the stories we heard. Videos will be posted next week, but I would like to thank Kian McKellar for taking these fantastic photos!

Jessica Piscitelli, host for the night, started the storytelling off with some puppy love, in her tale of the love for a dog. John Tong followed up by telling about his five year quest for the perfect moment to propose. Our first time teller, Kelly Wolfe, gave a good example of why finding that old flame on Facebook isn’t always a good idea. Noa Baum wrapped up part one of the evening with a journey to Israel, where she met an American that turned out to be not so bad.

We took a short break so people could order more delicious food from the wonderful staff at Epicure Cafe and maybe refresh a few drinks as well.

It was a perfect day for a funeral in Ellouise Schoettler’s story about a little white lie. Jeremy Strozer proved everything you need to know you can learn from a book – like how to flirt with women. A ruined date sent Geraldine Buckley on a lifelong killing spree. And Mike Baireuther proved to be the worst sinner of all. I would tell you about, but it’s too awful to repeat.

If you love listening to true, personal storytelling, and want a great night out in Northern Virginia, come out to Virginia’s best storytelling act, Better Said Than Done. Our next show, “Traveling Man,” is at Epicure Cafe, in Fairfax, VA, on September 29. More details here.
