December Storytelling Workshops

We have two storytelling workshops in December.

On December 1st, Better Said Than Done presents “Your Business Story: Crafting Your Company Tale.” In this workshop, students will learn techniques for writing the story of their business, association, or non-profit, to win clients, motivate members, or move donors. The workshop focuses on developing a story that can be used on the web, in presentations, elevator speeches, videos, or at networking events. Click here for more information or to register.

“Spotlight on You: Telling the Story of Your Life” is a workshop that focuses on crafting a true, personal story. Students should come with an idea or two for a true story they would like to work on during class. Teachers will help students understand structure, character development, and some ways to win the audience over.

When asked whether she would recommend the workshop, one graduate said, “Absolutely! The environment is warm and welcoming and the instructors are encouraging and offer positive reinforcement. I would even recommend this class to people who don’t give a lick about storytelling but are interested in building self confidence or writers who want to learn to focus their work and cut out the unnecessary verbiage.” – KR

If you can’t make December, no worries, we will be back with more workshops in 2013! Also, Better Said Than Done offers onsite workshops as well, if you would like our instructors to come to your business or non-profit office.
