Still Roaring

In April of 2017, Better Said Than Done started a movement. We asked women to share their true stories of obstacles. We asked women to speak up. To tell their tales. To Roar!

Despite the overwhelming success of the storytelling show Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors, the book of the same name, and yes, the movement, it seems that we women still have more stories to tell and a long way to go before we run out of story making moments. #MeToo #TimesUp #Roar

The good news is that women get one month every year in which we get to talk just a little louder. March is Women’s History Month and the City of Fairfax Public Library is celebrating the month by hosting a series of events on the theme of “Nevertheless, She Persisted.” And we get to join our voices to theirs in a free storytelling event at the library.

Join us. Roar with us.
