Marching Photos

“Marching Orders: true stories about moving on and moving out” was the theme of the night at our March storytelling show at The Auld Shebeen, in Fairfax, VA. But not one of the 5 million (approximate #) audience members marched out on the show or marched home that night feeling anything but happy. The storytellers followed their orders perfectly – tell great stories!

Host Derek Hills doubled as the first storyteller of the night, telling a tale of his endeavors in the hard hitting news world.

Bill Grella shared a heartfelt story about friendship and loss.

First time storyteller Dan marched us through the steps he took along the John Muir Trail.

Long time Toastmaster, first time Better Said Than Done storyteller Paul White diagnosed bigotry.

Stacy Crickmer introduced us to a very special cat.

Bill Burton took us on a march through Madagascar.

First time storyteller Joff Infante put his microbiology degree to good use.

John Kreul took us where no man wants to go – jail!

Thanks to all the storytellers (not just John) for rocking the jailhouse with their mad storytelling skills and making it another great night out in Northern Virginia. Special thanks to Derek Hills for his mad hosting skills, The Auld Shebeen for hosting our shows, Bart Robinson for photographing and Capture Video, Inc. for videotaping.

We are marching on over to Jammin’ Java, in Vienna, VA for our April storytelling show. “Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors” features 10 women storytellers – telling it like it is. The April show is on a Sunday.
