Three times the stories all summer long!

You may be taking a break this summer, but Better Said Than Done will be busier than ever, with three shows every month!

Our Summer Spotlight Series, held the second Sunday of each month, features solo storytelling shows at Epicure Café. Susan Gordon kicks off the series with So Both Shall Live, at 5 PM (doors at 4:30 PM), on June 11.  Read more here, and mark your calendar for shows on July 9 and August 13. Each show is $10 per person at the door.

Next, we are delighted to announce the launch of Storytelling at the Lake, a free show on the second Wednesday of each month, at Lake Anne Coffee House in Reston. Our first show, will be on June 14, at 7 PM, and will feature stories from Richard Barr, Catherine Calvin, Dan Loehr, Jessica Piscitelli Robinson, David Supley Foxworth and Mary Supley Foxworth. You can join us on July 12 and August 9, too!

And, of course, we continue our Monthly Show on the last Saturday of the month at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax. Up next is Labor Pains: work, bosses, and babies, on June 24, at 7 PM (doors at 6 PM). Buy your tickets online by 6 PM on June 23 for $12 each; $15 per person at the door.

Come early to take your seat in the audience, or sign up to take the stage.
