Best of 2016 Storytelling Video

At our 5 Year Anniversary Storytelling Contest, the top ten Better Said Than Done storytellers (as voted for by over 1000 storytelling fans) competed to see who would win “Best in Show.” The packed audience at Jammin’ Java, in Vienna, VA, enjoyed watching the ten storytellers share their true personal stories, but I doubt they enjoyed having to vote for only 1!

Better Said Than Done Storytelling
In case you missed the best storytelling show ever, you can watch the video.

Our anniversary show and storytelling contest was hosted by Better Said Than Done founder Jessica Piscitelli Robinson. The lineup was chosen at random.

Though I am certain you will want to watch all the storytellers, in case you are searching for a particular one, here they are in order of appearance:
David Supley Foxworth
Anna Marie Trester
Dustin Fisher
Anne Thomas
Brent Heard
Liezel Munson
Miriam Nadel
Zach Wilks
Jack Scheer
Alison Hughes

Thanks to Jammin’ Java for having us back. Thanks to Kian McKellar for photographing the show! Special thanks to Bart Robinson for designing the BSTD logo, posters, website, banners, and for videotaping our 5 year anniversary storytelling show.

Thank you to the Better Said Than Done storytellers who have graced our stage for the past 5 years and to the audiences who keep coming back for more true, personal storytelling!

Congratulations to the Better Said Than Done top ten storytellers of 2016. You guys earned the title.

Thanks to all for a fantastic 5 years. I hope to see at least 200 of you at our next storytelling show – back at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA – on June 25th for “The Graduate: stories of education and graduation.”

If you – YES YOU! – would like to share our stage, take a storytelling workshop! We’d love to hear your story.
