Traditional Photos

Better Said Than Done hosted our last storytelling show of the year Thanksgiving weekend. I am sure everyone who attended was thankful they did. I am thankful for the wonderful host, Sandra Hull, the wonderful storytellers, and the audience at our Thanksgiving show and at all the shows we hosted in 2016. And, of course, I am thankful for the great beer, food and service at the always cozy Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA.

This is not my farewell to 2016 blog. I have a couple more in me still. This blog post is to share photos from the show and give you a little teaser about some of the great, true, personal stories our storytellers shared at our farewell to 2016 show. We called it “Tradition!” For some reason, everyone’s story reminded me of food.

“Tradition” did act as one final farewell. The ever talented storyteller, and Better Said Than Done teacher, Anna Marie Trester is packing up and heading to California. Northern Virginia will miss you Anna, and so will I!

YOU don’t have to miss US for very long though. Our next storytelling show is January 28th, 2017. Join us for the best “Inauguration” we can hope for in the new year.

Or sign up to take a storytelling workshop with us starting January 7th, 2017. Psst, I have a secret. We’ve already sold a few slots to our January workshops as gifts. Don’t miss out on getting your friends, family or co-workers the coolest gift in town – the gift of storytelling!

See you again soon.
