Storytelling Videos to Make You Want to Return

Our March storytelling show at The Auld Shebeen was called “Hit the Road Jack: stories about leaving, travel and return.” Below are videos of some of the night’s storytellers sharing their true, personal stories – stories so good, you’ll want to hit the road and head to our next storytelling show!

The show was hosted by storyteller and fan of some basketball team (I’m unclear on which one) Dustin Fisher.
Dustin also performed some spoken word storytelling for us, in addition to his hosting and fan club duties. Videos of many of the night’s true, personal stories follow.

Watch Dustin Fisher’s story about leaving the traditional work force behind.

Watch storyteller Jack Pelar’s story of hitting the road in Bosnia.

If you’ve ever wanted to take a train from Lithuania to Estonia, you can hear all about it in Richard Barr’s story.

Jack Scheer shares how the end of his marriage caused him to hit the road.

For Jessica Robinson’s honeymoon, she went looking for romance.

Find out why old man Joff Infante had to call the cops to get those dern’d kids off his yard!

If you didn’t make it to the March storytelling show, you missed a great night out. And as grateful as we are to Capture Video for videotaping all our shows, watching videos is just not the same as being at a live show. So hit the road and join us at our next storytelling show in the City of Fairfax.

We will be back at The Auld Shebeen on April 28th for “Gettin’ Busy!” Put those hard earned dollars to work and save some money by purchasing tickets in advance.

We promise, you won’t want to hit the road after that show either!
