Better Said Than Done storytellers went into the woods and brought back some great stories. For our recent night of storytelling, we hosted a fundraiser for Friends of Reston for Community Projects at the Walker Nature Education Center in Reston, VA. It was a successful night of fundraising as well as a great night for storytelling, filled with camping, walking, and cooking out.
Jessica Piscitelli Robinson, Friends of Reston Board President and Founder of Better Said Than Done storytelling, hosted the evening, and told a delicious story about roasted weiners.
Barbara Effron tried to fight off some wildlife.
Richard Barr went on an ill fated Boy Scout camping trip.
Miriam Nadel took a raft trip down the Delaware River.
Michael Zhuang navigated some whitewater rapids.
Ann Cavazos had a truly unnatural distaste for creamed corn.
Chuck Na brought the night of true, personal stories to a close, taking us on a walk with him and the wife’s dog.
If you missed this storytelling show, you got another chance to see us on April 26th. Don’t miss our storytellers in “Roomies: stories about living together…or trying to.”
Our next night of true, personal storytelling is at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA on April 26th. Read more and purchase tickets in advance here.
