Watch Our Family Storytelling Videos

In June, the Better Said Than Done storytellers shared true, personal stories about their families in the storytelling show, “Mother, Daughter, Father, Son: stories about family.”  The videos don’t do the live shows justice, as storytelling is a great night out. But you can get to listen or watch some fantastic storytellers do their thing at the links below.

Better Said Than Done storytellingHost and storyteller Dustin Fisher shared two short stories from his recently published collection of true stories, “Daddy Issues.”  Here’s his first story of the night and here’s his second story.

Watch this performance by Mary and David, a husband and wife storytelling team, at least for this one night.

Here is Ann Cavazos telling a true, personal story about child rearing.

Watch Noa Baum shared her tale of parental interference.

Click for Richard Barr’s story about prom dresses and his dad.

Watch Anna Marie Trester tell a story about growing up with a different perspective.  Anna is leading a storytelling workshop on July 19th. Click here for more details.

Storytelling is true and personal. The Better Said Than Done storytellers open their hearts to audiences in each of our live shows in Northern Virginia and throughout the DC Metro area. Our next night of storytelling is July 26th, at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA.  I hope you will join us for a great night out.
