In Better Said Than Done’s last storytelling show of the year, “Leftovers: stories of gluttony, forgotten things, and do overs,” our storytellers left no doubt about what makes us the “Best Performing Arts Company” in NoVa. The packed audience, at The Auld Shebeen, got to hear stories that ranged from heartfelt to hysterical.
Mike Kane kicked off the night with a story about being a daddy on Thanksgiving.
Mattie Cohan swore she’d never tell a lie, again.
Jessica Robinson was crushing hard, on her boss.
Victoria Rocha killed it in a pie eating contest.
Mary Supley Foxworth found her one true love, or maybe her two true loves?
Let’s face it, Ann Cavazos was a weird kid – we’re talking really weird.
Former police officer Richard Barr gave us some rules of conduct.
Cathy Smith struggled with just what was the right amount to spend on the perfect Christmas gift.
All of our storytelling shows this year have been fantastic, but we definitely went out on a high note.
If you’d like to join us on stage next year, check out our storytelling workshops – or get one as a gift for a friend who you’d like to see perform.
If you prefer to watch, our next show is January 31st, 2015, at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA. We’ll see you there next year!
