February is the month to learn storytelling

Have you been to one of our storytelling shows and thought, “I’d like to give that a try,” whether on or off stage? We can help you with that because, this month, we are offering four different workshops. Join us to learn the art of storytelling!

February 9  ̶  Your Business Story: Crafting Your Company Tale
Stories are a powerful way to communicate what you, your team, or business have to offer. In this half-day workshop, you will learn to develop characters, identify and craft stories, and how to tailor them for different media.

February 10  ̶  Spotlight on You: Telling the Story of Your Life
Whether you are a storytelling novice or are looking to brush up on your skills, this is the workshop for you. Come with an idea and leave with a story, as we cover character development, basic story structure, and how to win over the audience. (This workshop is also offered on March 17.)

February 12  ̶  Storytelling: Where to Begin
Beginnings and endings are challenging for many writers, and especially so when you are writing a true, personal story. Join us for this two-hour workshop at The Insight Shop to learn where to begin and how to end your story; visit The Insight Shop’s website for additional information and to register.

February 26  ̶  Take the Stage: Storytelling for Performance
Do you want to step up to the mic to share a story? This three-week series will give you the opportunity to learn and apply different story structures, incorporate dialogue and humor, learn techniques to prepare and perform, and more. (The workshop continues on March 5 and 12.)

Read more and register on our Workshops page. Address for workshop and additional details provided after paid registration
