Anna Marie Trester hosted our most recent night of true, personal storytelling, “When I Grow Up: childhood, adulthood, and the in between” at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA.
After Anna’s story about the tears of priests, the ever colorful Ann Cavazos took the stage and taught us of her love for go go dancing. 
Jessica Piscitelli Robinson was this month’s featured storyteller, sharing a tale of her journey through the bumpy road of pregnancy with the disadvantages of modern technology. Ellouise Schoettler brought us back to teenage dances, and all the pressures they brought.
Richard Barr gave us a picture of what it was like growing up Texan. 
First time storyteller Raychel Hayhurst took us along with her as she got taken for a ride. 
Cathy Smith shared some of the universal fears of motherhood and Geraldine Buckley went exploring through an English childhood.
